Meanwhile, China still faces challenges such as inadequate development imbalances, and a peaceful and stable international environment needs to be preserved. To realize China’s dream, China must work together and work together with its Chinese children, both within and outside China.
Bringing people together for community development
Dr. Lee Qihong thanked Consul Sun for his interest in and support for the local Chinese community since taking office. He said that the Chinese diaspora in the northwest of the United Kingdom was growing and actively integrated in the economic, educational and social spheres, contributing to the development of the local society.
There was an in-depth exchange of views on the structural characteristics of the local Chinese diaspora, the current state of development and future opportunities, and on how to further promote corporate development and cohesion.
“Uniting our hearts and strength is key to the sustainable development of the Chinese community.”
Build bridges and map the future
During the exchange, the two sides agreed that Chinese diasporas are not only important participants in friendly exchanges between the Chinese and the British, but also an important bridge between civil exchanges between the two countries. In the future, communication and collaboration should be further strengthened and cultural mutual understanding and practical cooperation deepened.
Dr. Lee Qinghong stated that he would continue to unite the diaspora, actively participate in community building and cultural exchanges and contribute more to the promotion of friendly relations between the Chinese and British communities.
We're all together. We're gonna make it
The spirit and practical nature of the meeting not only deepened communication between the Consulate General and the local diaspora, but also further strengthened the cohesion and commitment of the Chinese community.
The same people go with them and the same people go far.
In the context of the new era, the British Northwestern Chinese community is approaching a much broader development space. It is confident that, with joint efforts, the Chinese community will continue to play a more important role in promoting social cohesion, cultural exchanges, and friendly relations between the Chinese and the British, and will write a better chapter in the era.
